The association that brings together professionals from green spaces in Catalunya (APEVC) is organizing a technical day at our nursery directed to professionals in the sector on Friday, October 4th from 9:30am. The day will take place in our demonstration garden and also in our facilities led by Guillem Morral (Sala Graupera technician).
Sustainable gardening, its uses and applications will be the central theme. We will begin with a first block with pruning recommendations for Mediterranean shrubs. In this block we will try to answer three basic questions: how, when and why should we prune a Mediterranean climate shrub.
Secondly we will address the different water needs of the main Mediterranean species, making reference to those species that can survive after an implementation irrigation.
In a third block of this first part we will mention some recommendations to reduce the use of phytosanitary products, while presenting some of the most representative allelopathic species.
We will end the technical day with a visit to our cultivation facilities, reviewing the seedling production system, the presentation of the production process and the measures that our nursery takes to preserve the environment and the natural surroundings.
A product catalog and the new explanatory brochure of the demonstration garden that we have edited on the occasion of this day will be delivered to all attendees. If you are interested in participating in this day you can send an email to apevc@apevc.com or asala@salagraupera.com.
